In addition to these programs, we have quarterly Family Gatherings throughout the year.
We also offer Vacation Bible School each summer for our younger students.

Religious Education Classes

Religious Education Classes are traditional classroom religion lessons for grade school students, with online features for enhanced learning opportunities. Our classroom textbooks will come from the Alive in Christ catechetical series published by Our Sunday Visitor Press.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd provides Montessori-based experiential learning atriums, starting in preschool and continuing throughout the younger grades. For more information about the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) program, please click here.

Sacramental Preparation Programs

First Communion Program. At least two years of faith formation are required for First Communion, usually in first and second grade. Parent-student meetings are held in the fall for First Confession, and in the spring for First Communion. First Confession is usually celebrated during Advent, and First Communion during Easter time. Students should continue their faith formation throughout their grade school years.

Confirmation Program. At least two years of faith formation are required for Confirmation, usually in seventh and eighth grade. Parent-student meetings are held in the fall and the spring, in addition to a student retreat and other Confirmation requirements. The sacrament of Confirmation is usually celebrated in the spring. Our junior high youth ministry program is recommended for all of our Confirmation students.
