Welcome to Saint Dennis Church!

Thank you for coming to pray with us at Sunday Mass!  Please introduce yourself to our pastor after Sunday Mass to obtain a parish census form. Otherwise, please click here to download our parish census form, which you can return through the collection, by mail, or at the parish office during the week.

We have a welcoming program for new and returning parishioners to which you will be invited. In preparation for coming to our welcoming program, please look over the following documents in preparation for our parish welcoming program. Once again, we warmly welcome to Saint Dennis Catholic Church!

Saint Dennis was the first bishop of Paris, France. He was martyred around 250 A.D. Legend has it that, after he was beheaded, he carried his head to the summit of what is now called Montmartre (Martyr’s Hill), where the historic white Basilica of Sacre Coeur (Sacred Heart) stands today.

The picture of Saint Dennis published here is from his final resting place in the crypt of Sacre Coeur Basilica in Paris. His feast day is October 9th. Saint Dennis, bishop and martyr, pray for us!

Saint Dennis Church was founded in 1846. The current church was built in 1879. The school, originally called Sacred Heart School, began in 1881. The current rectory house was built in 1923. For more information about the history of Saint Dennis Church, please click here.

Please help us write the next chapter of our parish history by your attendance at Mass, your active involvement in parish life, and your generous support of our church community.
